Vanillin (pure, pharmaceutical)
Ask a Question
We offer pure vanillin (purity min. 99.5%) that can be used in the production of cosmetics and perfumes. In the production of perfumes, it is not only a wonderful fragrance, but also an odor fixer, with the help of which it is possible not only to improve the stability of the aroma, but also to change the tone of the created accord. It reduces with different intensity the volatility of different fragrance substances, so the scent itself may sound a little otherwise.
We do not recommend using it when making soap from a soap base or by cold process with alkali, because such soap darkens over time, and the vanillin scent itself changes and does not last in the soap. Vanillin can be used in other cosmetic products with a pH of 3-7.
A large percent of vanillin in cosmetic products brightens the skin and has antiseptic properties. Used in mosquito repellents.
Dosage:
For perfumes – 2.5-5%
Cosmetics – up to 2%
Important! Pure vanillin dissolves in alcohol without any residue, and the solution is completely transparent. In pastry shops, vanillin is sold in a mixture with sugar or other carbohydrates and is not suitable for the production of perfumes.
