Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone)
€8,90 – €58,70Ask a Question
Coenzyme Q10 is highly valued in cosmetics for its properties. In the skin, ubiquinone turns into its active form – ubiquinol, which has strong antioxidant properties. It will reduce the effects of photoaging and protect fibroblasts, which synthesize collagen and elastin in our skin, from UV rays and free radicals. Coenzyme Q10 has been shown in research to reduce wrinkles that form from skin photoaging.
Coenzyme Q10 is involved in various processes in our mitochondria (these are the energy stations of the cell) and is responsible for the efficient adoption of oxygen. Therefore, it is important for many physiological processes and is an excellent nourishing ingredient. Increases skin density and elasticity. With regular use, a large amount of the product brightens the skin and reduces the visibility of pigment spots.
Recommendation: added to the oil phase or to the finished product. It dissolves well at a temperature of about 40 °C.
