Vitamin A (Retinyl palmitate)

This form of retinol is intended to enrich cosmetic products, it is a highly effective on the skin.
It is a high concentration solution of retinyl palmitate (13.2%) in sesame oil, stabilized with vitamin E. Soluble and miscible with oils.
Retinol is a popular active ingredient in cosmetics because it stimulates the keratinization process and the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Its application on the skin increases the thickness of the epidermis, which significantly improves the condition of mature skin and reduces the depth of wrinkles. Considered one of the most effective ingredients in cosmetics. Great ingredient for creams and serums. Has a positive effect on the skin in the fight against acne, dermatitis and severe scaling of the skin.
High concentrations of retinol lighten the skin, reduce pigment spots, but can increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight, so in summer we recommend to use more carefully in day care products. Retinol itself is unstable in the sun, so products with retinol should be stored in a dark place.
Although our proposed form of vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) is one of the safest, it should not be used on the skin neat. Studies have shown that tretinoin is dangerous during pregnancy (a highly active form of vitamin A) but no cases of retinyl palmitate have been reported.
Dosage: 0.5 – 2% (5 to 20 drops in 50 g of cream).
Recommendation: placed in the final phase or in the finished cosmetic product at a temperature below 40 °C.
