Hardener for soap base

Additive to the soap base, increases the viscosity of the melted soap base and the hardness of the product, accelerates the hardening process. The product will be evaluated by professionals.
This hardener allows you to adjust the properties of the soap base at your discretion:
✓ increase the hardness of the soap
✓ increase the viscosity of the molten base
✓ reduce freezing time
When using molds with complex ornaments for soap making, it is recommended to use a high hardness soap base to avoid damaging the ornaments when removing them from the mold. Our soap base for swirls is perfect for this. The soap base hardener will help you achieve the desired hardness, which you can adjust by adding more or less to transparent, amber or white soap base.
Also, the hardener accelerates the freezing of the soap. A simple transparent soap base hardens in a 60 g mold in 30-40 minutes. By adding a hardener, this process can be accelerated to 3-10 minutes, which is especially important for organizing a public event or activity.
Another feature – the hardener increases the viscosity of the soap base, which makes it easy to make soap with “swirls” and avoid layers mixing when different colored soap layers are poured into one mold at the same time.
This soap base hardener is suitable for all our soap bases. It is safe in final product. We do not guarantee its effectiveness when used with soap bases from other manufacturers.
Ingredients: glycerin, aqua, sodium silicate, sorbitol.
Usage: pour slowly into the molten soap base in a small stream or in small portions, stirring thoroughly.
Dosage: 3-10% (from half to 2 teaspoons per 100 ml of molten base)
Notes: reduces the transparency of the soap base, but only slightly at 3-5%. If you use a large amount, the soap base may loss tranparency.
