Fractionated coconut (MCT) oil

Extracted from coconut oil, it contains medium chain triglycerides (MCT oil – medium chain triglycerides oil).
During the fractionation of coconut oil, triglycerides of higher molar mass (stearic, palmitic, oleic acids) are removed, so the product obtained in this way has a lower viscosity, penetrates more easily and deeper into the skin and gives a less greasy feeling. Fractionated coconut oil is used like other carrier oils as an emollient for skin softening and protection against dryness, but has the advantage of being more stable to oxidation (products based on it have a longer shelf life), colorless, has no extraneous odor and has a lighter texture. When making oil mixtures, with 40-50% fractionated coconut oil in the composition, it reduces the oiliness of the product and lightens its texture.
