Natural amphoteric surfactant for shampoos and other rinse-off foaming agents.
Cocamidopropyl betaine has a stabilizing effect on lather in cosmetics, while it can thicken the finished product. It has a bactericidal effect. This surfactant is an excellent foaming agent for shampoos, shower gels, soaps and bath foams. Perfectly compatible with all types of detergents. In mixtures with anionic surfactants (such as sodium coco-sulfate) it thickens the consistency and makes the product safer for the skin.
Cocamidopropyl betaine reduces the skin degreasing caused by other detergents and improves the toleration of cosmetics to the skin and hair. It allows to reduce skin irritation caused by other detergents and gives hair products an anti-static effect and acts as a conditioner, while it ensures good skin and hair care. Can be used alone, but is recommended for use in mixtures with other surfactants.
