High purity pharmaceutical grade carbamide. A very good additive for cosmetics that increases the skin’s moisture-retaining properties.
High purity urea is used as a remedy for dry, rough, scaly skin. Has the ability to reduce skin flaking, also in the case of psoriasis. Helps reduce skin itching, promotes cleansing of pores from excess of sebum. It is valued for moisturizing properties as it increase the amount of water that can be retained by the skin, while increasing the effectiveness of other moisturizing ingredients. Softens the skin, facilitates the entry of other substances into the deeper layers of the epidermis.
Dosage:
as a moisturizer – 2-5%
up to 10% in dermatitis
