Sodium coco-sulfate
€4,80 – €14,80Ask a Question
An excellent substitute for sodium lauryl sulfate, as it is not only derived from natural raw materials, but also better tolerated by the skin and hair. Easily soluble in water at a temperature of at least 40°C. It has good cleaning and foaming properties. The consistency of aqueous solutions is easily controlled by the addition of a small amount of concentrated salt solution.
For products with sodium coco-sulfate, a small amount of cocamidopropyl betaine will provide a milder effect on the skin. Solutions with sodium coco-sulfate do not require preservatives. It is an excellent base surfactant for the production of hard shampoos, which you can easily enrich with oils and other active additives at your discretion.
