Extracted from the leaves of the tea plant Camellia sinensis with glycerin and water.
Green tea extract contains a large amount of polyphenols, which act as antioxidants, soothing the skin, and have the ability to scavange free radicals, protecting cells from their harmful effects. Also, this extract is rich in caffeine, theobromine and theophylline, which act as tonics, stimulating blood flow in the subcutaneous capillaries, which revives skin color and helps to improve the nutrition of epidermal cells. Most often, this extract is used in products for mature, pale and skin affected by UV rays.
Dosage: 0.5-5%.
