Citric acid (anhydrous, Eur. Pharm. min 99.5%)
Pure AHA fruit acid is used to adjust the pH of cosmetics and to make bath bombs.
It is an excellent pH regulator in cosmetics. Solutions with high concentrations of citric acid lighten the skin. 2-3% solution is a good remedy for freckles, and 0.5% solution is used to give the skin an even matte tone. Has a positive effect on hair and nails, gives them gloss. This is one of the key ingredients in making bath bombs.
