50% alcohol solution of benzoin absolute is obtained by extraction from the resin of styrax tree Styrax tonkinensis.
Ingredients: styrax tonkinensis resin extract, ethanol (50% benzoin absolute solution in alcohol).
Origin: Thailand.
Aroma: warm, vanilla, amber with a balsamic note.
Note: base.
Suitable for: soap, candle and cosmetic making, evaporation in diffusers.
Dosage:
Creams, lotions, massage oils – max 5 g per 100 g
Soap, shampoo, shower gel and other rinse-off products, candles – max 2-9 g per 100 g
